Dr. Jody Webster, School of Geosciences at the University of Sydney, gives a Seminar@Sea in conjunction with the Visioning the Coral Sea expedition. His summary lecture “Environmental change of the Great Barrier Reef: A tale of life, death, and recovery” illustrates the evolution of coral reefs in the Great Barrier reef over the last 30,000 years, and how this system has responded to past environmental changes.
