Max Rintoul is a volunteer interested in the impact that anthropogenic changes in marine chemistry and rising sea levels will have on coral reefs. Max recently graduated with a Bachelor of Philosophy from the Australian National University, where he received 1st Class Honours for his research into the calcification regimes present within coral reef frameworks. Throughout his studies, he has performed research in fields ranging from plasma physics to the biomechanics of seaweed, and plans to pursue a PhD in marine biogeochemistry in the near future.
