Walter Cho is a deep-sea biologist and an associate professor in the Biology Department at Point Loma Nazarene University.  His research focuses on the biodiversity, biogeography, and population connectivity of marine fauna using a variety of molecular and ecological analyses.  Walter received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Harvard University and received a PhD in Biological Oceanography from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology/Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution Joint Program in 2008.  He has participated in over a dozen scientific expeditions in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans and has worked with a variety of vehicles including submersibles, autonomous underwater vehicles, and remotely-operated vehicles.
