Vicente Sufán is a Mechanical Engineer from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Robotics at the same institution. Since 2021, he has been a member of the CoMPAS lab led by Dr. Giancarlo Troni. Vicente´s research is dedicated to the control of underwater robotic vehicles, with a specific focus on exploring the application of reinforcement learning for autonomous underwater vehicle docking maneuvers. This research aims to enhance the energy autonomy of these vehicles during their oceanic exploration missions.
