Monserratt Gonzalez is an oceanographer technician at the Laboratorio de Gases de Efecto Invernadero (LABGEI) of the Pontificia Universidad Católica Valparaíso, where she is currently working on her thesis on the distribution of microplastics in the water column and benthic organisms in the bays of Robinson Crusoe Island in the Juan Fernández Archipelago, to obtain her degree in Oceanography.
