Luján Agusti is a National Geographic Explorer and visual storyteller based in Tierra del Fuego, Argentina. Her work focuses on environmental and gender issues, with a special emphasis on Patagonia. She is a Magnum Fellow and IWMF Fellow. She was selected for the World Press Photo 6×6 Global Talent Program for South America. She has received grants like the Women Photograph + ONA Grant, the Emerging Artist Scholarship from the Lucie Foundation, and the CUARTOSCURO/Foundry Scholarship. Luján also attended the XXX Eddie Adams Workshop. Her awards include the First Prize of the Book Call at Encontros da Imagem, the Roberto Villagraz Fellowship from EFTI, and the Young Stimulus Prize at the ArtexArte Biennial. She was nominated twice for the Joop Swart Masterclass, and selected for the First Book Award by MACK Books and the New York Times Portfolio Review. Her work was also featured in the XVII Photography Biennial at the Centro de la Imagen in Mexico. Her work has been exhibited in China, India, Spain, Canada, the United States, Mexico, and Argentina, and published in outlets like National Geographic, Time, The Washington Post, The New York Times, Vice, and more. She belongs to Canelo Estudio, Ruda Colectiva and Prime Collective.
