Lauren Huet is in her final year of her undergraduate degree at James Cook University, undertaking a Bachelor of Science majoring in Marine Biology. Her areas of interest include marine pollution, oceanography and marine geology. Lauren is a 2021 New Colombo Plan Scholar recipient and will study marine pollution and oceanography at the Goa University and undertake an internship at the National Institute of Oceanography in Goa, India. Lauren wishes to pursue research in land-sea linkages, pollution, and conservation.
