Cait Demers grew up in Rhode Island and has been living in Hawaii for two years. Although she enjoys her career as a CT Technologist, she is pursuing a new career in global environmental science to take her love of nature even further. She enjoys traveling, hiking, stand up paddle boarding, yoga, scuba diving, and has recently taken an interest in crossfit. Cait is happiest making new discoveries and trying to experience everything. This is her first research cruise and she is very much looking forward to it.
