Dr. Ben Radford is a spatial modeller and ecologist with the Sustainable Use of North West Ecosystems Marine group at the Australian Institute of Marine Science (AIMS), Townsville, Australia.

Ben has an honours degree in Marine Biology from James Cook (Queensland, Australia) and PhD from University of Western Australia (Western Australia). Ben’s primary interests are the application of spatial modelling and ecological methods to investigate spatial and temporal processes shaping the biodiversity, connectivity and disturbance on coral reefs and shoals.  Bens work uses a broad range of remote sensing methods combining satellite data, hydroacoutic sensors and field measurements to investigate the drivers of pattern and process at a range of spatial scales.
