Alexis is a Marine Biologist, and magister in sciences specializing in Fishery biology. He currently works as a professional at the UNAP Sea Museum. He has carried out research in marine biodiversity, mainly in plankton research in the northern part of Chile. He has shipping experience in some expeditions as a researcher for the NGO Oceana Chile, from the University of Magallanes.
The Falkor expedition is an excellent opportunity to continue advancing our knowledge about deep-sea fauna and their relationships.
Alexis has obtained his degree in Marine Biology from the Universidad Arturo Prat, Iquique Chile, and his master’s degree from Universidad Arturo Prat.
