Morgan Will is currently a PhD candidate in the Cordes Lab at Temple University, studying the spatial distribution and community structure of cold-water benthic invertebrates. Her current research focuses on Lophelia reef communities, exploring and modeling the links between reef structure and associated invertebrate community distributions. She is also investigating ocean carbonate chemistry, developing models to better understand relationships between aragonite saturation level and changes in reef structure.

Morgan received her B.S. in Marine Biology and Environmental Science from Nova Southeastern University and her M.S. in Marine Biology from the College of Charleston. Her projects at both institutions focused on habitat characterization and spatial distribution of benthic invertebrate communities, developing her expertise in community ecology, GIS, and spatial modeling. She is excited to help with benthic community sampling during this cruise!
