Anjali L. Nath will be participating in the acoustics team for this research cruise. She is a fourth-year degree fellow from the East-West Center and a fourth-year Ph.D. student at the University of Hawai’i at Manoa in the Department of Political Science. She holds a B.A. from California State University at Fullerton in Political Science and Women’s Studies with a minor in Philosophy and an M.A. from San Diego State University in Women’s Studies. At UH, she teaches courses on American Politics, Indigenous Politics, Public Law and Judicial Behavior, and the History of Political Thought. Her area of concentration lies at the intersection of political theory and indigenous politics. An eager scuba diver and snorkeler, she is passionate about learning from oceans and envisioning collaborative research projects which bridge the natural and social sciences.
