Sydney Christopher is a creative and passionate BSc Double Major Biology and Environmental Science first class honours graduate with a personal background in the field, laboratory and the arts. Having gained her BSc at the University of the West Indies and completed further education in project management and data analytics, she has begun a MSc program in Biodiversity Conservation and Sustainable Development with a goal of focusing on marine conservation and research. Equipped with a diverse skillset, scientific knowledge as well as artistic and creative passion and a love for education, she has aided in multiple projects including marine educational outreach with SpeSeas, aquatic data collection, production of phytoplankton marine illustrations and environmental sustainability projects. Whilst pursuing her Masters, she is a director, freelance graphic and fine artist, project manager and a co-founder of an environmental sustainability NGO where she additionally works in project conception, development and communications, as well as community outreach and social media creation. Through tireless activities such as these, she aspires towards facilitating for improved environmental sustainability, protection of our oceans and the biodiversity within, and inspiring environmental change for generations to come.
