Stephanie L. Smith has been central to social media endeavors at NASA-JPL for over 10 years, first as a Social Media Specialist and currently as the Digital and Social Media Supervisor. At JPL, she oversees the social media team, which holds conversations with the public and media about more than 20 space missions, and tweets as the Curiosity Mars rover. A two-time Emmy winner for original interactive programming, and seven-time Webby Award winner, she was also recognized by Time for running one of the “140 Best Twitter Feeds.” A veteran of the “Let’s Go” travel guides, Idealab and Peabody-award winning “Channel One News,” Smith is always game for adventures that make great stories.
