My name is Sidney Trimble and I am from Kentucky. I received my bachelor’s degree in Biology from Kentucky Christian University in 2020. I completed my master’s degree in Marine Science at Nova Southeastern University in Dr. Rosanna Milligan’s lab where I worked as her lab manager. My thesis focused on estimating the carbon flux of a deep-sea hatchetfish (Argyropelecus aculeatus). After completing my master’s program I began working as a research technician in Dr. Tracey Sutton’s lab at Nova Southeastern. I assist with any ongoing lab projects as well as prepping for cruises. I also assist with the identification of fishes at sea and inside lab alongside Dr. Sutton.
