My name is Shae Roman, and I am from Bon Accord, Tobago. From a young age, I have always been driven by excellence, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility. My journey began with academic dedication, and in 2016, I proudly achieved the distinction of being the Top SEA student in Tobago. That achievement set the foundation for my continued commitment to personal and academic growth.I attended Bishop’s High School, where I earned nine CSEC passes and was recognized as the Most Outstanding Student in 2021. During my time there, I also developed leadership and teamwork skills, serving as a Prefect and actively participating in sports. Basketball became one of my passions, and I was part of the Tobago Zone Championship team in 2019. I later pursued my CAPE studies at Signal Hill Secondary School, earning eight CAPE passes while serving as Secretary of the Tourism Club and remaining actively involved in extracurricular activities. Leadership and service have always been central to who I am.

Currently, I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology at The University of the West Indies, specializing in Ecology and Environmental Biology and Marine Biology. My passion for the environment and marine conservation continues to grow through my involvement in the UWI Scuba Diving and Marine Conservation Club and my role as an Executive Member of the Tobago Students’ Association (TABSATT). Beyond academics, I have gained practical experience through internships at Dwight Yorke Stadium, the Division of Settlements, Public Utilities and Rural Development, and the Division of Community Development, Youth Development and Sport. I have also worked as a Coach at The Sports Company of Trinidad and Tobago, where I developed leadership, communication, and mentorship skills. I consider myself a responsible, adaptable, and dedicated individual. I value teamwork, honesty, effective communication, and time management. My goal is to continue using my skills and education to grow professionally while contributing meaningfully to my community and environment. My journey so far has been guided by discipline, service, and a desire to make a positive impact, and I am only just getting started.
