I began my career as an Oceanographer at Rutgers University, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Biological Oceanography and Master’s degree in Operational Oceanography. My time in academia largely centered around oceanographic research driven by underwater glider technology – a type of buoyancy-driven autonomous underwater vehicle that samples the ocean’s water column for months to years at a time. After graduating, I followed my passion for underwater glider technology by joining Teledyne Webb Research as a Slocum Glider Field Applications Engineer. My role centers around leading glider operations, testing new glider research and development initiatives, and providing comprehensive support for glider users around the world.
