Morten Larsen, currently a research engineer at the University of Southern Denmark, brings a diverse skill set and extensive experience to the research team. His past roles include a position as an Assistant Professor in Marine Biogeochemistry, working as a sensor engineer, and developing underwater instrumentation, encompassing hardware, electronics, and optical trace oxygen sensors.
Morten holds a Master of Science from the University of Copenhagen and completed his Ph.D. at the University of Aberdeen. Currently Morten is supported by a grant from the Carlsberg Foundation, developing in situ incubation robotics that will be deployed during the Falkor(too) cruise.
