I am an oceanographer with a Master’s degree in Environmental Oceanography. I am currently working as a researcher at the Marine Geosciences Laboratory (Labogeo). My research focuses on marine sedimentology and habitat mapping, as well as the application of geospatial tools to improve our understanding of seabed dynamics.I have hands-on experience of offshore operations, including geophysical surveys and acoustic and sedimentary data collection. I have played an active role in planning and executing field campaigns, particularly with regard to onboard logistics and team coordination during research cruises. My research background includes studying the erodibility of cohesive sediments, which has contributed to a better understanding of sediment transport and seabed stability. I am particularly interested in integrating geological and geophysical data to support marine environmental studies and oceanographic research. In addition to my technical work, I engage in scientific communication to make marine science more accessible and connected to society.
