Lizzy Taber is currently working and living in Phoenix, Arizona while pursuing her Master’s degree in Fine Art at Arizona State University. Taber grew up in South Florida and graduated from The University of North Florida with her BFA in Printmaking in 2014. Lizzy’s work has been shown widely in museums and galleries across the U.S. and internationally while also being recognized for her special talents – receiving multiple awards, recognition, and grants. She has received grants to travel to and create work in Croatia, Iceland, and Hawaii. She is currently teaching two-dimensional design at Arizona State University while finishing her thesis. Taber’s work ranges in mediums and is currently focusing on art and science collaborations. Lizzy’s visual language bridges the fragility, abstraction, detriment and beauty of our shared seas. This summer she is creating work to highlight these topics while engaging in relevant research with Schmidt Ocean Institute.
