Gabrielle Weiss received her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley in Marine Sciences, where she studied particulate inorganic carbon dynamics. She also contributed to the development of an in situ particulate inorganic carbon sensor. Gabrielle is currently a graduate student at the University of Hawaii Manoa, studying trace metals and is in the process of developing a novel platform for trace iron analyses.
