Alexis Haifley resides in the Pacific Northwest with her husband and their menagerie of animals. Originally from Ohio, she received her BS in 2010 at Ashland University where she majored in Criminal Justice and Environmental Science. She is currently enrolled at the Evergreen State College in the Masters of Environmental Studies Program and is focusing her studies on marine ecology. Alexis is looking forward to working with the science team aboard R/V Falkor gaining valuable research experience by doing multibeam sea floor mapping.
