Chris Linder is a documentary photographer and filmmaker specializing in stories about science, conservation, and natural history. A former oceanographer, Chris now documents scientists working in extreme environments. Through photographs and video, he challenges the traditional science stereotype by showing how science is done in the field. Linder also teams up with writers and educators to craft immersive, live science experiences for school children and adults. Over the last decade, Chris has documented 43 expeditions from Antarctica’s Ross Island to the heart of the Congo. Chris is a Senior Fellow in the International League of Conservation Photographers.
