Will Snyder is a masters student at the University of Rhode Island working on a degree in Ocean Engineering. His research focuses on autonomy and control of underwater vehicles. He will be operating a Lagrangian Float vehicle this cruise that drifts over the bottom and produces photo-mosaics of the seabed along it’s track. The vehicle will also be testing control algorithms developed for his thesis during the cruise.
