Paulo Cetto holds a Bachelor’s degree in Oceanography from the Federal University of Espírito Santo (2005), a Master’s degree in Marine Geology and Geophysics from the Federal Fluminense University (2009), and a Ph.D. in Environmental Oceanography from the Federal University of Espírito Santo (2022). Since 2022, he has been working as a postdoctoral researcher at the Marine Geology and Geophysics Laboratory of the Federal University of Espírito Santo. Between 2008 and 2017, he worked in the offshore services and survey sector as a specialist in the acquisition and processing of high-resolution geophysical data and auxiliary sensor data. In the academic sphere, he has experience in Geological Oceanography, particularly in subjects related to the morphology and sedimentation of continental shelves, with a focus on the eastern Brazilian margin, the occurrence and sedimentation of carbonate-producing organisms, the geological evolution in response to sea-level variations, and the application of high-resolution geophysical methods for the investigation and mapping of the seafloor and sub-seafloor.
