I am Flávia Masumoto, a Brazilian oceanographer from the University of São Paulo. I received my Master’s degree in Oceanography from the University of São Paulo in 2025, where I investigated the presence of microplastics ingested by deep-sea fishes. I am currently a research assistant at the Universidade do Vale do Itajaí, where I analyze underwater images and contribute to other research projects.
