Ronaldo Christofoletti is a Brazilian marine scientist and professor at the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP), where his work focuses on the interface between science, society, and decision-making in the context of ocean sustainability and climate change. His research spans coastal ecosystems, biodiversity, and the impacts of human activities, with a strong commitment to translating scientific knowledge into meaningful societal action. He coordinates the Maré de Ciência program and leads the development and implementation of the Blue Curriculum process in Brazil, a pioneering initiative integrating ocean literacy into education systems.
