Meredith Brindley is a multimedia artist from Brisbane, Australia. She is chiefly concerned with converting data into new forms to simulate reality, though more broadly she is interested in artwork about the destruction of forms of technology, the environment, and globalization. She uses the mediums of glass, artificial intelligence, data visualization, machine learning, robotics, and the Internet. her subjects are often large quantities of data that she believes need to be converted into something else. Simultaneously, she strives to use data to give form to the formless or ephemeral. She received a BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2017. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally from Doha, Qatar to Richmond, Virginia to Austin, Texas and Bogota, Colombia and she has given talks at Bloomberg in New York City, at the University of Chicago.
