Roberto is a geochemist by training. His interests lie at the intersection of marine geology, and sediment and water chemistry. He has been a member of MBARI since 2011 in the Continental Margins and Submarine Canyon group, in charge of chemical analysis and interpretation, and project management. In this cruise besides being responsible for logistics, he will participate in multibeam data processing and interpretation. Roberto is very enthusiastic about his participation in this cruise and in being able to assist in expanding our understanding of the meteorite impact at the K-T boundary. Link to personal web page.
