Josh is the morning shift supervisor for this cruise. A contractor with the ROPOS team since 2011, Josh has filled the roles of navigator, ROV pilot, and shift supervisor. With over 10 years of experience with a variety of ROV operations, Josh has piloted 5 different inspection class and 4 different work class ROV systems.
Josh presently owns and operates the marine surveying company Ocean Dynamics Inc., out of Courtenay, BC, which specializes in inspection class ROV operations, hydrographic surveying, and general marine based habitat inspection and reporting. His educational background is in marine biology, which is where his marine surveying and passion for ocean science began.
Josh lives with his wife and two children in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island.
