Devin is a second-year M.S. student studying Biological Oceanography at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography. He is currently working with Dr. Lisa Levin and her amazing team of deep-sea scientists. His research is focused on the megafauna communities in the Southern California Borderland (SCB) and their affinity for phosphorite and ferromanganese crusts. Devin has previously participated in an expedition in the SCB, exploring the benthic communities and their biopharmaceutical potential.
