Anton joined the ARC Centre of Excellence for Coral Reef Studies as an MSc student after completing his Honours degree in oceanography and a brief stint working in environmental management. Following the submission of his thesis on coral records of ENSO patterns in late 2013, he continued on as a research assistant. Anton is a trained commercial diver who brings a great deal of practical experience to the team and coordinates the group’s diving activities. When on dry land he can be found riding his motorcycle and enjoys keeping fit by running, swimming, cycling and weightlifting.
