Dr Amanda E Bates is Lecturer within Ocean and Earth Science, National Oceanography Centre Southampton at the University of Southampton. Her research focusses on marine systems from the poles to hydrothermal vents
to investigate how environmental variability influences the ability of animals to cope with temperature stress.
