Since its establishment in 2009, Schmidt Ocean Institute closely collaborated with Marine Science and Technology Foundation (MSTF) on several projects, including the Deep Ocean Observatory, RV Falkor AUV program, kite-assist low altitude aerial observation platform, and other projects where MSTF technology was employed to pursue oceanographic interests of Schmidt Ocean Institute.
